Apply, promote, show and execute hygiene and safety rules among all the individuals present in the building.
wash hands often and thoroughly (use soap and disinfect with alcohol min 60%),
keep 1,5 m distance to other individuals
do not shake hands with other individuals
do not touch face (eyes and mouth),
keep hygiene rules when coughing and sneezing ( protect your mouth and nose and wash hands)
Clean space more often and more thoroughly and using detergents. Keep eye on sensitive areas: reception, conference rooms, lifts and their equipment in particular:
buttons, handles, handrails, light switches, telephones, keyboards, screens.
Demand from cleaning service to be more thorough
Give up electric dryers, make available paper to dry your hands
Make available anti-bacterial liquid to disinfect hands in toilets and receptions area. Make sure that the containers are refilled regularly.
Make sure that air condition and ventilation systems are efficient, carry out regular cleaning and conservation.
Provide continuity of cleaning and technical support services in the building. Prepare „Plan B” assuming that employees of these services may be absent.
Make sure that the building manager is always in place: provide shifts at work
Provide transfer of knowledge and prepare back up: there must be another employee replacing building manager
Provide Tenants and their employees with necessary procedures.
COMMUNICATION IN CRISIS SITUATION
Prepare crisis communication in the event of first coronavirus case in the building and procedure for individuals who were present in the restricted area.
Send messages: mail to employees, mail to tenants . Prepare communication for press and media and questions and answers (QA)
Nominate person to contacts and external relations in this case.
MONITORING GUESTS (APPLICABLE FOR OFFICE AREAS)
Monitor more thoroughly your visitors.
In special cases you may prepare a statement for visitors whether they have visited in recent 14 days countries with high ratio of COVID-19 cases. List of these countries is on the website of Chief Sanitary Inspector (pl. Główny Inspektor Sanitarny)
If the visitor refuses to sign the statement or confirms that he/she returned from one of the listed countries – reception officer has right to refuse access to the building.
PROCEDURE IN CASE OF VIRUS INFECTION IN THE BUILDING
In the event of existence of coronavirus in the building close the infected area, open windows and disinfect space thoroughly.
Employers should inform poviat sanitary and epidemiological station (pl. abbr.PSSE) about the situation. It is necessary to prepare the list of individuals who had direct contact with the infected person. The list should provide the following information:
surname and family name
phone numer ( preferably mobile)
description of the contact with infected person.
Individuals who had direct contact should stay in home and start home quarantine immediately without waiting for SANEPID decision.
The person with coronavirus symptoms should be directed to observation and infectious hospital department or should call the NFZ info line: NFZ: 800 190 590.
Inform tenants immediately about the coronavirus case in the building together with communication in respect of actions and recommendations regarding further work in the building. Encourage to measure body temperature of the employees. Individuals who do not have any symptoms of coronavirus should not volunteer to have tests or inform relevant institutions.

Analyse and make conclusions from actions already taken and improve your procedures for crisis situations in the future.
