The extension is possible due to the reactivation of the Guidelines for statutory and non-statutory moratorium on the repayment of the loans by the European Banking Authority, which have extended the date for the application of the moratorium until March 31st, 2021.
Among the entities able to use a mechanism there are medium and big entrepreneurs who run a business activity in the scope of space rental in commercial and service buildings, also commercial parks, where the sales or services area is above 2000m2.
The aid measures included in the mechanism cover moratorium on capital instalments and capital and interest instalments for the maximum of 3 or 6 months, depending on whether the entity has already used the first moratorium. Moreover, they also cover renewable products, leasing products and factoring products – renewal and moratorium in this case i also dependent on whether the entity has already used the first moratorium.
According to the assumptions, moratorium will cover the aid measures from January 18th, 2021 to March 31st, 2021.
