Premiere of the BEAS 2025 Łódź report

Łódź maintains a stable level of investment attractiveness, according to the latest edition of the Business Environment Assessment Study (BEAS). The city received an average rating of 7.2 points on a 10-point scale. PINK, as in previous editions, is a project partner.

The fifth edition of the report by Antal, Cushman & Wakefield and Vastint – „Investment Potential of Łódź” as part of the Business Environment Assessment Study (BEAS) project – presents a comprehensive assessment of investment conditions made by managers and decision-makers of companies operating on the Polish market.

Łódź maintained high scores in key categories such as availability and quality of office space (8.1), infrastructure in the context of running a business (7.7), attractiveness of the location as a place to live (7.6) and business potential (7.2).

The category of employment potential, understood as the availability of required competences, deserves special emphasis, in which Łódź was the only city among the surveyed to record an increase of 0.2 points, becoming the only Polish city with an improved rating in this area.

"Łódź combines stable conditions for business development with access to highly qualified personnel and modern office space, making it a natural choice for investors seeking cities with sustainable economic potential and a high quality of life. Thanks to its strategic location in the center of the country, developed transport infrastructure, and systematic strengthening of its human capital, Łódź is consistently building its position as one of the most attractive investment centers in Central and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, the implementation of key infrastructure projects – the Central Communication Port, the High-Speed Rail, and the cross-city tunnel – will create the so-called "golden Y" connections with Warsaw, Poznań, and Wrocław, making the city one of the best-connected in Poland." – says Mateusz Sipa, Director of the Office of Economic Development and International Cooperation at the City of Lodz Office.
