It was published on the website of the Government Legislation Centre draft regulation of the Minister of Development and Technology on the construction object book and the Digital Construction Object Book system.
The draft regulation supplements the extensive regulations regarding the construction book contained in the Act of 7 July 1994 – Construction Law, which will come into force on 1 January 2023.
The proposed regulation specifies:
- what elements should the construction book consist of;
- technical requirements for maintaining a construction book in paper form;
- how entries in the construction book should be made and what they should look like, as well as how they should be systematized;
- the method of authentication and authorization and the impact of this process on maintaining the construction book in electronic form.
The draft assumes that the regulation will enter into force on 1 January 2023.
Public consultations on the project will last until August 25, 2022.
