On April 28, 2023, the provisions of the Act of October 7, 2022, amending the Act on the energy performance of buildings and the Building Law, amending the Act of August 29, 2014 on energy performance, entered into force, among others, in the scope of the energy performance certificate for buildings and automation and control systems.
Due to numerous doubts raised by our Members regarding the provisions of the amended Act, on May 12, 2023, we sent a letter to the Ministry of Development and Technology addressing the interpretation issues raised by our Members and requesting the Ministry to take a position, among other things, on the obligations related to the preparation and submission of energy performance certificates, placing the certificate in a visible place, and inspections of heating and air conditioning systems.
